We are incredibly excited and profoundly grateful to invite you to our first-ever Hike for Hospice, taking place Saturday, June 6 at Waterworks Park. This event is more than a walk; it’s a moment for our community to come together in remembrance, love, and solidarity.
Every step taken honours someone cherished. Every registration helps ensure that compassionate end of life care remains available to families when they need it most. And every person who joins us reflects the heart of a community that continues to show extraordinary support for hospice care. We truly could not do this work without you.
Your kindness, your participation, and your willingness to walk alongside us mean more than words can express. Thank you for helping us ensure that no one has to face life’s final journey alone.
Hard copy registration forms are also available at our office for anyone who prefers to sign up in person.
Let’s walk together, remember together, and continue building a community where compassion leads the way.

What is a Hospice Residence?
Residential hospice care is a specialized service focused on improving the comfort, dignity, and quality of life for individuals as they approach the end of their life. Learn more about our facility and how to apply for admission.
While our programs are free for the community, they’re not free to provide and we rely on the community as part of our funding model. Learn more about donating, or hosting a community fundraising event.

Every day of hospice care happens because someone chose to help.
Your generosity brings comfort, dignity, and peace to families when they need it most.
Together, we are making room for life, even at life’s end.
You don’t have to navigate grief alone. 🤍
Our Grief & Bereavement Team is here with a full calendar of gentle, supportive programs to help you feel connected, understood, and cared for.
📅 Take a look and register by emailing Jenna (jenna.parsons@elginhospice.com) We’d be honoured to walk alongside you.
If none of these feel like the right fit, we’re here to connect one-on-one or share what’s coming up in the months ahead.
In just our first 6 months, your support helped make this possible:
🩷83 residents cared for
🩷71 community members supported through grief programs
🩷27 hospital referrals
🩷25 guest suite stays so families could remain close
Small numbers.
Big impact.
Thank you for helping make every day of care possible.
